This past weekend I did a bit more exploring of my “semi-new” city and attended the Groupon sponsored “Bite of Seattle”. The event was being held at the Seattle Center which is an amazing backdrop for any large Festival. The Space Needle and Chihuly glass Garden as well as the other sculptures and artwork scattered around the area really made the environment even more fun to walk around. The Bite, which is pretty much a smorgasbord of food, arts and crafts, entertainment is family friendly and there is definitely something for everyone. However, the food is by far the best part. There were fried PB&J sandwiches, roasted corn on the Cobb, 100 different lemonade combinations and flavors and cuisines from all over the world as well as some Seattle staples. I can’t say that I didn’t have fun walking around and eating everything that caught my eye. There were hundreds of people out this weekend. I took a few photos while I was there, there should have been more, but I as too busy stuffing my face to remember to be a good blogger.
